Our Story

Established in 2025, El Capulin is locally owned and operated, born from a passion to bring vibrant, flavorful food and a warm, welcoming environment to the heart of South Warren District. Conveniently located near Chaney’s Dairy Barn and Michael O. Buchanan Park, we’re proud to be part of the Richpond community and excited to serve as a hub for good food, great drinks, and even better company.
El Capulin was founded with one goal: to create a place where guests could enjoy traditional-style Mexican dishes in a space that feels like home. Love having this little jewel so close to my work. The inside is beautiful decorated and always kept super clean. The staff is always is always friendly and very helpful. Price is on par with other places in town but the portions are large. I love not having to drive into the nonsense that is midday Nashville and Campbell just to try and find a meal.
